Find Me If You Can

Find Me If You Can
Xcode → Window → Devices and Simulators ⌘⇧2
Modern software has a strange and annoying habit: things keep moving.
Yesterday I opened the recently released Xcode 27 and pressed my usual ⌘⇧2 to open Devices and Simulators, but I couldn’t find it. After some searching, I found out that Apple had moved device and simulator management into a separate app called Device Hub.

By the way, there is no simulator for Duo yet.
The same thing is happening with other very popular, everyday services, such as Google Play Console.
The whole experience reminded me of getting ready for the gym and discovering that my workout clothes are no longer where I left them. Your wife cleaned the apartment and put them somewhere “much better.”
Maybe she’s right. Maybe she’s not. But I have no idea where my clothes are, I’m in a hurry, and I need to leave now.
Let’s hope we’re not just fixing what wasn’t broken.
But quite often, it feels like we’re following the principle: When a dog has nothing to do, it paints its kennel.
Hopefully, that’s not the case here.
