Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 2026

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how AlwaysOnApps collects, uses, shares and protects information across its website, mobile applications, AI-powered products and features, and idea submission program (together, the "Services"). It is intended to serve as AlwaysOnApps's general, ecosystem-wide privacy policy, including as the policy linked from AlwaysOnApps mobile applications on the Apple App Store and Google Play.

2. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to:

  • the AlwaysOnApps website at alwaysonapps.com;
  • mobile applications developed and/or published by AlwaysOnApps;
  • AI-powered products and features operated by AlwaysOnApps; and
  • the AlwaysOnApps idea submission program.

This Privacy Policy does not replace, and should be read together with, any Apple App Store privacy disclosures, Google Play Data Safety disclosures, in-app disclosures, or product-specific consent notices that apply to a particular application. Those disclosures describe that application's specific data practices and are maintained separately from this page.

Where AlwaysOnApps develops a product on behalf of a client, the client — not AlwaysOnApps — is typically responsible for that product's own privacy policy and data practices, unless a written agreement between AlwaysOnApps and the client states otherwise.

3. Information we collect

Website forms

The project request form at /start-a-project collects: name, email, what you need, your message, and, if you have an existing app, what you'd like help with.

The idea submission form at /submit-an-idea collects: name, email, idea, problem, target audience, why the idea is needed, prototype status, and website.

Submitting either form sends your entry from your browser to an AlwaysOnApps Cloud Function, which validates it and writes it to a Cloud Firestore database; AlwaysOnApps then receives an email notification of the submission, sent via Resend, at hello@alwaysonapps.com.

We do not intentionally collect or store raw IP addresses as part of these form submissions. This does not mean no IP address or other technical information is processed anywhere in the systems that support the website — infrastructure and service providers involved in operating the website (including hosting and backend providers) may process such technical information as an ordinary part of providing their services, under their own privacy policies.

Mobile applications

Depending on the application, we may process account information, user-provided content, application data, usage information, device or diagnostic information, and other information necessary to provide and secure the application. Not every application collects every category listed here — see Mobile applications below.

AI products and services

Where a product includes an AI-powered feature, we may process the input you provide to that feature and the output it generates, to operate the feature and respond to you. See AI products and services below.

4. How we use information

We use the information described above to:

  • operate, provide, and improve the Services;
  • respond to project requests and idea submissions;
  • evaluate whether to develop a submitted idea;
  • operate account, content, and AI features within our mobile applications and AI products, where applicable;
  • maintain the security and integrity of the Services and prevent abuse; and
  • comply with legal obligations.

We do not use website form submissions for advertising, to build advertising profiles, or for any purpose unrelated to the ones described above, and we do not sell personal information.

6. How we share information

We do not sell personal information. We may share it with:

  • service providers who process information on our behalf to operate the Services — see Third-party services below;
  • another party in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections;
  • authorities or other parties where required by law or legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of AlwaysOnApps, our users, or others; and
  • other parties with your consent or at your direction.

7. Third-party services

Depending on the product or service, AlwaysOnApps may use third-party providers such as:

  • Firebase / Google Cloud — for functions such as backend processing, data storage, authentication, messaging, diagnostics, analytics, or security, depending on the product.
  • Google Analytics — for website analytics, as described in Cookies and analytics below.
  • Cloudflare — for website hosting and content delivery, bot/spam verification (Turnstile) on our forms, and routing form submissions to our backend.
  • Resend — for transactional email delivery.

Not every AlwaysOnApps product uses every provider listed here. Each provider processes information under its own privacy policy and terms.

8. Cookies and analytics

The AlwaysOnApps website uses cookies and similar technologies, including browser storage, to help the website function and to understand how it is used.

We use Google Analytics to help us understand how visitors use the website — for example, which pages are viewed and how the website is used — so we can improve the site and our services. Google Analytics does not receive the name, email address, message content, or other information you submit through our website forms.

Analytics storage is disabled by default. When you first visit the website, a cookie banner lets you accept or reject analytics cookies, and analytics storage is only enabled if you choose to accept. You can review or change your choice at any time using Cookie settings, available in the footer of this website.

The website does not currently use Google advertising or remarketing cookies or tags.

The choice you make is itself stored locally in your browser, using a technology called local storage — not a tracking cookie — so the website can remember it on your next visit. Rejecting analytics cookies does not disable other technologies that may be strictly necessary for the website to function, such as those described in Third-party services above.

9. Mobile applications

AlwaysOnApps develops and/or publishes mobile applications. These applications may use Firebase and Google Cloud services for functions such as backend processing, data storage, authentication, messaging, diagnostics, analytics, and security, depending on what a specific application implements — not every application uses every service.

Depending on the application, we may process account information, user-provided content, application data, usage information, device or diagnostic information, and other information necessary to provide and secure the application.

Application-specific disclosures — including the specific data categories and services used by a given application — are provided in that application's own App Store and Google Play listing, and are maintained separately from this policy.

10. AI products and services

Some AlwaysOnApps products may use third-party AI or machine-learning services to provide AI-powered features. Where this is the case, input you provide to an AI feature and the output it generates may be processed by AlwaysOnApps and by the third-party provider powering that feature.

Whether input you provide is used by a third-party provider to train its models depends on that provider, its configuration for the specific integration in use, and its own applicable terms — this varies by product and provider, and is described in that product's own documentation where applicable.

Separately, AlwaysOnApps uses AI tools internally as part of its own design and development workflow — for example, when writing code or preparing designs. Using AI in this way does not mean that personal information you submit through a website form, such as a project request or idea submission, is sent to an AI provider. Website form submissions are processed as described in Information we collect above, not through an AI feature.

11. Data retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including responding to requests, providing and improving services, maintaining appropriate business records, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, and complying with legal obligations. Specific retention periods may differ by product and by the category of data involved.

12. Data security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

13. International data transfers

AlwaysOnApps and the third-party providers described in this policy may process information in countries other than the one you are located in. Where we use Firebase / Google Cloud, a database's selected storage location controls where that database's data is primarily stored — it does not mean every aspect of related processing, such as operating, securing, or supporting the service, is confined to that same location, since Firebase / Google Cloud generally operates using global infrastructure.

14. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you are located, you may have rights such as the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to restrict, object to, or withdraw consent to certain processing. Not every right applies in every jurisdiction. To exercise a right available to you, contact hello@alwaysonapps.com.

15. Children's privacy

Our products may have different age requirements depending on the product. AlwaysOnApps does not knowingly collect personal information from children where doing so is prohibited by applicable law. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information in a manner not permitted by law, contact hello@alwaysonapps.com.

16. Account and data deletion

You can request deletion of your personal information by contacting hello@alwaysonapps.com. Where an application provides its own in-app deletion mechanism, you may also use that mechanism directly within the application.

Some information may need to be retained where required or permitted by applicable law, or as described in Data retention above — deletion is not guaranteed to be immediate or complete in every circumstance where a legal or operational reason exists to retain specific information.

17. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our products, service providers, or legal obligations. The date at the top of this page indicates when it was last updated.
